Description Summary: Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart seeks a creative, detail-oriented Communications Specialist to support the school’s marketing and communications efforts. This role is responsible for creating compelling content, maintaining consistent messaging across platforms, and strengthening Duchesne’s brand in alignment with the Goals and Criteria of the Sacred Heart education. In collaboration with the Head of School and others, the Communications Specialist plays a key role in telling the Duchesne story to internal and external audiences, including students, parents, alumnae, donors, and the broader Houston community. Primary Responsibilities: Content Creation & Marketing Support - Execute and adapt design templates to maintain brand consistency across communication channels and digital and print materials. - Write, edit, and proofread content for newsletters, emails, website updates, social media, press releases, and print materials. - Ensure all communications reflect Duchesne’s mission, values, tone, and visual identity. - Assist with marketing campaigns for admissions, fundraising, and special events.
