Department: Nephrology Physicians Job Summary: Seeking board eligible or board certified nephrologist to perform professional medical work in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of Nephrology patients in the chronic dialysis unit, nephrology clinic and hospital service. Works with clinical staff, fellows, and advanced practitioners to provide Nephrology care with an emphasis in chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, fluid/electrolyte disorder and dialysis. Examines and diagnoses patients and develops treatment plans. Performs testing, referral to other specialists as needed, writes prescriptions, and performs administrative procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols and available equipment.
