Job Description Quality Assurance Technician - College Station, TX The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials and finished goods used by and/or manufactured at Deerland Enzymes. The primary function of this role is to be a “hands on” technician that performs quality assurance and control functions and assist in compliance with internal and external regulations, protocols, and policies. Position could be a 2nd shift from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm or a 3rd shit from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Ensure facility and products meet all local and federal food/supplement safety regulations - Act as a facilitator/coach in areas such as Quality Control techniques, Good Manufacturing Practices, and product quality/safety - Perform basic raw material management including, but not limited to, receiving, sampling, testing, and shipping functions - Sample and analyze raw materials, in process goods, and finished products to assure compliance to specifications - Work flexible hours to accommodate manufacturing, including nights and weekends. - Assist in cleaning validations and line clearance using, but not limited to, ATP technologies - As...
