POSITION TITLE: Intern – ESE/SCS DIVISION: Extended School Enrichment/Summer Camp Series REPORTS TO: Assistant Director ESE FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt PAY RANGE: $12 per hour Purpose of Position: The purpose of this position is to further the student’s understanding and experience in the field of parks and recreation and assist with a variety of recreation management duties. Assist in facilitating school year/summer camp activities with participants enrolled in department programs, assisting with planning and preparation of programs, and other administration responsibilities within the Extended School Enrichment (ESE) and Summer Camp Series (SCS) programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. - Facilitate school year/summer camp activities with 5–15-year-old program participants. - Supervise participants throughout all aspects of school year/summer camp programs. - Attend and participate in professional development meetings and trainings as needed. - Assist with the organization and coordination of contracted programs. - Assist wi...
