Description OPEN TO CURRENT EMPLOYEES OF OLEC: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this position is to ensure operational compliance with all Detention Center policies and with applicable state and federal laws and regulations; to assign and directly supervise the activities of a unit in the performance of detention facility operations, including duties involving the care and custody of inmates and the security of the facility; to supervise inmate activities, and to perform related correctional work as required. The position works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive.
