Position Number: 107550: Classification Title: Assistant Professor Working Title: Assistant Professor, Accounting Department: Accounting & Finance: FLSA Status: Exempt Salary Range: Commensurate with education and experience Pay Basis: Annually POSITION OVERVIEW: JOB SUMMARY: To teach undergraduate and graduate classes in Accounting (face-to-face and online), especially Intermediate Financial Accounting I, Intermediate Financial Accounting II and Advanced Financial Accounting classes, and other Accounting-related courses to adequately provide a good foundation in Accounting, and to prepare students for other classes within the department and the Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business. This position will teach three classes each fall and spring. This position will also serve on departmental, college, and university committees. This faculty member will maintain professional affiliations and contribute to professional activities. The person in this position must retain their scholarly academic qualifications.
