Lead Engineer – Xray L3/CA Engineer

Job Description Summary The Xray L3/CA engineer will be responsible for ensuring business wide quality Xray processes, including Xray Computed Tomography. You will work with materials and design engineers, value stream engineers and shops, external vendors and research teams to develop and validate new material/part inspections. You will work directly with internal and external customers to ensure part procedures and practices are being carried out to specifications. As new product introduction ramps up, you will have the opportunity to develop the inspection methods and transition said inspections to a production environment. You will be tasked with staying connected with state-of-the-art technologies including artificial intelligence and automation and identifying uses for those technologies to increase component safety and reduce manufacturing cost.
