Job Overview The Flight Logistics Specialist is a highly skilled professional responsible for the execution of cargo preparation, coordination, and aircraft loading operations in support of U.S. military and government airlift missions. This role demands knowledge of military logistics, compliance with regulations, and the ability to perform Joint Inspections (JI) without oversight. The position requires an experienced operator who can immediately step into mission-critical responsibilities and ensure flawless execution under dynamic and high-pressure conditions. Essential Functions: - Support the loading/unloading of aircraft, applying expert knowledge of 463L pallets, restraint systems, and multiple aircraft configurations. - Operate forklifts and material handling equipment with proficiency to ensure safe and timely movement of cargo. - Perform and facilitate Joint Inspections (JI), ensuring all cargo meets airworthiness standards prior to mission departure. - Complete and review critical mission documentation, including DD Form 2775, DD Form 1149, and DD Form 2133.. - Maintain and control inventory of cargo preparation materials (463L pallets, nets, straps, dunnage, covers). -...
