Become a part of our caring community The Senior Learning Design Professional uses instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to determine the appropriate solution to a knowledge or performance gap. The Senior Learning Design Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Senior Learning Design Professional analyzes needs, organizes content, designs solutions, and writes facilitator guides, storyboards, scripts, performance support resources, mobile learning solutions and manuals. Conduct need analysis with clients to determine whether learning solutions are necessary and proposes right-fit solutions. Analyze knowledge and skill needs and partners with subject matter experts to gather input for course content. Write learning objectives and coordinate performance assessments to measure training effectiveness. Plan, organize, and develop training curriculum, materials, job performance aids and programs to meet specific training needs.
