Title Deli Department Manager Pay Grade: Non-Exempt Major Department: Deli: Minor Department: Management: Reports to: Store Manager: Job Summary : The Deli Department Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests. S/he is responsible for ensuring that the merchandise in the deli department is properly received, stocked, prepared, sliced, wrapped, weighed, priced, rotated, and merchandised. S/he must ensure the proper handling of products; which may include, but are not limited to: deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet, and specialty items. S/he is expected to have a love and passion for deli items, with an extensive knowledge specific to the items Pete’s carries. As a team member of Pete’s Fresh Market it is important that Pete’s Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service are always exemplified.
