Responsibilities This Position is Subject to Contract Award OBXtek is staffing for an Accountant . The Accountant is responsible for the full range of financial management support and accounting activities associated with contract execution under the RS3 task order. This individual ensures compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DCAA requirements, and accepted accounting standards. The Accountant maintains all accounting records, prepares required reporting, and provides cost analysis in support of contract/program management and Government requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain and reconcile accounts in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal regulations. - Track, process, and review accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and employee expense reimbursements. - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for contract-related project accounts. - Prepare, review, and submit financial and cost reports, including incurred cost submissions, cost vouchers, and task order-specific deliverables as required (e.g., DI-FNCL-80912). - Support all DCAA/Contractin...
