Description The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Chicago is searching for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor on the School of Medicine track to serve as Section Chief for Maternal Fetal Medicine. The appointee will participate in the maintenance and further development of the perinatal referral network and will be expected to maintain good working relationships with community-based physicians, referring physicians, and hospitals, and participate in the outreach efforts of the University of Chicago Medical Center. The Section Chief will also be responsible for further developing innovative research programs that leverage collaboration with existing university and community partners and support the growth of the Biological Sciences Division’s grant portfolio. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, strategy, budget, and planning oversight of the Section’s revenues, expenses, and faculty compensation plan, as well as management of annual performance metrics.
