SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Stockroom, this role is responsible for inventory control, organization and maintenance for the Vancouver Aquarium’s retail warehouse and Gift Shops. The Warehouse Associate supports the highest level of customer service behind the scenes and on the floor ensuring appropriate stock levels and stepping into the Retail Sales Associate role as needed. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assist with the Retail Store’s inventory control: - Receive, price, and determine proper storage methods and stock location based on turnover and environmental/physical capabilities of facility; - Verify inventory of packing slips to physical counts of stock: investigate discrepancies and adjust for errors and defects; - Process and coordinate shipments of website and catalog orders; - Conduct monthly inventory audits; - Assist with the a...
