HWI has a fantastic opportunity to join our Maintenance Team in Gary, Indiana as a Maintenance – Multi-Craft Electrical/Mechanical. Summary: The position of Electrical/Mechanical Multi-Craft Maintenance is intended to provide flexibility within the maintenance department. The employee will typically possess skills specific to electrical/mechanical repair and maintenance. A functional understanding of electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance of industrial equipment is required. There is a need to perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs to equipment both on site and remote location at the customer. Responsibilities: - Ensuring operation of machinery, production equipment, and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mixer, motors, pneumatic tools, pumps, hydraulics, mobile equipment, cranes – jib and overhead, etc. - Ability to use basic hand tools typically used in mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance. These tools may include power tools such as grinders, drills, pneumatic power packs, and impact wrench used to perform repair and routine equipment maintenance. - Use an oxy-fuel burning torch, be able to do minor MIG/TIG...
