General Purpose of Job: Reporting to the System Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all functions related to the financial management, budgeting, accounting and reimbursement of the Medical Group (CPSST) and its entities. Establishes and implements policies and procedures related to accounting practices and ensures compliance. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in order to determine the group’s financial status, financial trends, cash flows and the like. Provides comprehensive leadership and direction to ensure that the Medical Groups financial and statistical performance is accurately and continuously measured. The position is responsible for ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and that all reporting complies with applicable regulatory standards.
