Yulista Contract Services LLC Regular: This position is pending contract award. PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Aircraft Structural Mechanic is responsible for assessing aircraft damage and draft repair procedures to aircraft structural and composite components. Must be able to utilize advanced metalworking practices and techniques to form, cut, bend, and fasten new / repair components to damaged structures. Must be proficient in close tolerance drilling/reaming for installation of high-strength fasteners. Able to use powered / non-powered metalworking tooling and equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Inspect / assess damage to aircraft structural components and formulate proper repair/replacement procedures utilizing applicable technical data. Remove and install close tolerance, high-strength fasteners in major aircraft structural components. Advises on structural repair, modification, and corrosion protection treatment with respect to original strength, weight, and contour to maintain structural integrity.
