Job Details Physician Office | Kettering | Full-Time | First Shift Responsibilities & Requirements: Graduate of accredited nursing program or Associate's Degree or higher in related health field. RHIA, BSN, RHIT or RN required. Preferred Qualifications: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a multidisciplinary setting. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Requires 5 years of experience in acute patient care or Inpatient Hospital Coding. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain good rapport with physicians, hospital administration, nurses and other healthcare team members. Ability to prioritize. Computer skills related to data entry, management, retrieval and presentation. Familiarity with process improvement principles and the application preferred. Knowledge and application of federal, state, HFAP and quality improvement regulations. Knowledge and experience with EPIC, 3M and Microsoft office preferred.
