Observe and report abnormal occurrences or changes in patient condition. Clean, stock and maintain supplies for the patient unit. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Major Job Functions: The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time: Assist in admission of patients to the unit including orientation to the unit, hospital routine and patient care equipment Respond to needs of patients with direct assistance when able or by reporting patient need to appropriate person Assist with implementation of nursing care plan by carrying out delegated patient care tasks Assist in maintaining patient safety including proper use of equipment and supplies Access to medication/supply room to retrieve patient care items for patient care use as applicable per unit Maintain well-stocked, clean patient environment: Actively pa...
