What We’re Looking For: Michael Baker is seeking a Civil Engineer with aviation experience to support the planning, design, and delivery of airport infrastructure projects. This role will include a combination of project management support, leading aviation civil design teams, and field engineering duties, working closely with project managers, designers, contractors, and airport stakeholders in active airfield environments. What You’ll Do: Engineering & Field Support - Lead the design and construction of aviation infrastructure projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield pavements, utilities, and support facilities - Serve and engineer of record for aviation civil projects. - Review plans, specifications, and submittals for technical accuracy and constructability - Perform field observations to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with project documents - Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and airport operations to support construction phasing and access requirements - Assist with quantity tracking, field measurements, and pay applications - Support resolution of field issues, RFIs, and change documentation during construction.
