Blue Ghost Event Staff Job Description: We are seeking Event Staff to support our seasonal Blue Ghost Firefly Experience. This unique outdoor event centers around the rare Blue Ghost Firefly ( Phausis reticulata ) , offering guests an educational and immersive nighttime hike through protected woodland trails. Event Staff play a key role in ensuring a safe, organized, and memorable experience for all attendees. Staff will be trained on event procedures, safety protocols, and how to communicate key information about the Blue Ghost Firefly experience. Responsibilities: - Assist at stations along paved forest trails to guide guests and ensure they remain on designated paths - Provide clear directions, answer questions, and share basic information about the fireflies and event flow - Monitor guest safety in low-light conditions and respond to concerns as needed - Encourage responsible behavior to protect sensitive habitats - Assist with check-in and guest registration - Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system (retail positions only) - Assist with clearing trails at the end of the event - Support breakdown of event stations and materials Qualifications of a successful candidate: Dates of th...
