STV’s Maryland Transportation team is seeking a motivated Traffic Engineering Specialist to support traffic and roadway design projects across Maryland and the broader Mid-Atlantic region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team of engineers focused on improving transportation networks through innovative and data-driven solutions. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals while also mentoring with peers, helping public agencies deliver safer, more efficient, and multimodal transportation systems. What You’ll Do: - Conduct traffic operational analysis for roadway and intersection improvements. - Perform transportation safety and crash data analysis. - Support multimodal design and evaluation of pedestrian and bicycle facilities. - Assist with traffic signal coordination and timing. - Develop design concepts using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, depending on client needs. - Collaborate with planners, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
