Quality Improvement Officer Permanent: Grade C - £35,412 - £44,075 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: We are delighted to provide an exciting opportunity for staff across Birmingham City Council. The role of Quality Improvement Officer will require the successful applicant to undertake audits of social work practice, create learning resources and be involved in establishing and carrying out quality assurance activity for the department. Audits are a key driver in supporting service reform and quality assurance. Key focus of the role: - Working closely with the Principal Social Worker, and the deputy Principal Social Worker - Carrying out audits of practice - Creating resources to support the working of the Quality Assurance Framework - Creating learning resources and organising learning events Considerations for applicant: - You will need a Social Work Qualification and be registered with SWE - An excellent understanding of quality social work practice and how we assure this - Ability to work in a timely manner and get reports completed on time - An excellent knowledge of the prevention agenda, the importance o...
