Pratt Industries, Inc., a world-leading corrugated packaging manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician. The position is located at our state of the art 100% recycled paper mill in Shreveport, LA. Responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting intermediate to advanced control system problems of all electrical equipment at our Shreveport, LA Paper Mill. This equipment includes but is not limited to, plant lighting, motors, starters, motor control centers, control panels, transformers, and switches on the Paper Machine, Winder and other equipment to maintain maximum uptime . Applicant must be able to understand work orders and be able to troubleshoot electrical equipment that is not operating properly. Must be able to communicate orally with the team members, operators, management, and keep accurate records. Must be able to read multiple types of electrical measuring devices accurately. Must be able to run/bend conduit and pull wire. Technician will be required to perform additional duties as assigned. Employee will be expected to work individually and in teams.
