Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting the engineering team in productivity and reliability activities for the ATX transmission manufacturing processes and equipment . In addition, the technician position will test, analyze, report, troubleshoot and communicate process related issues pertaining to quality, equipment and engineering activity. This role will require a problem-solving mindset, consensus-building skills, and perseverance to drive data driven solutions. What You Will Do: - Represent engineering during emergency break-down events on production equipment from an engineering standpoint. - Must be able to question the “How?” or “Why?” an issue is occurring. - Create problem reports including Route Cause Analysis and Timeline Tracking. - Maintain a running shift handoff to establish clear communication between shifts. - Ability to capture the issues and quantify what is happening before escalation. - Must communicate on...
