Job description

The primary focus of the Global Category Manager Business Applications Area is on developing and driving category strategies related to the Technology category for the business applications segment. This includes achieving goals by securing supply, ensuring significant year-on-year cost improvements, meeting financial and non-financial targets, and providing benchmarking market updates for forecasting and savings initiatives purposes. Additionally, the role involves identifying and implementing demand, productivity, and innovative improvements while maintaining quality and managing vendor service levels. The Global Category Manager will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. The Global Category Manager Business Applications Area also serves as the Business SPOC towards the business stakeholders for certain parts of the Global Tech Organization.
