Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Louisiana, LLC: **This position can be located at the Gretna, Destrehan, or Metarie office** Job Summary/Purpose: Provides engineering support to Area Substation Supervisors and Field personnel. Performs a wide variety of protection and control mis-operation investigations, assisting field personnel with testing protection and control devices, calibrating relay test sets, design engineering, and operations activities related to routine, non-routine, and emergency restoration duties. Project areas may include identifying mis-operation mitigation plans, planning corrective actions, reliability, computer applications, and root cause failure analysis. Prior experience in Transmission Protection Systems, NERC PRC-005 regulations, or RTU/SCADA systems is preferred. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of detailed engineering analysis in substation protection/control-related areas such as design, outage investigations, mitigation plans, documenting outage causes, identifying customer interruption trends, auditing SERC applicable asset maintenance, and use of engineering/technical principles, best practices, and knowledge...
