This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in our Movable Bridges team for the Lawrenceville, New Jersey office. Provide technical expertise to design, develop, analyze, and inspect mechanical systems on movable bridges for new construction, rehabilitation, emergency repair, condition inspection, and construction inspection projects. Responsibilities include development of design documents, calculations, specifications, cost estimates, inspection reports, equipment testing and calculations, intradisciplinary coordination, of mechanical systems. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality. Your Impact: - Develop design plans, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates for new construction, rehabilitation, and emergency repair projects for movable bridge; actively participate in coordination with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients. - Inspect and document mechanical equipment on movable bridges as a part of condition inspections, construction inspections, and shop fabrication inspections.
