Job DetailsJob Location: Savannah, GA 31302Position Type: Full TimeThe Control Journeyman Technician provides support to other technicians and also works independently. They work strictly in Georgia Power substations and panel shops. They must deal with day-to-day issues and find suitable solutions under difficult circumstances. They must have an excellent command of decision-making and problem-solving techniques and are able to apply them appropriately. They must be able to work at various job locations. The Control Journeyman Technician's job includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance for the Company. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Provides day-to-day direct support to their crew(s). Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Schedules projects effectively.
