Who we are Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The Procurement department is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering. Your role and key responsibilities: Supporting our colleagues in value engineering with: What you bring to the team - Management of value engineering activities with R&D, purchasing, production - Bottom-up cell cost calculations for concept decisions - Control and review of material cost assessments in the procurement process - Control and review of production processes for decision-making and budgeting - Active contribution to the design-to-cost process of cell projects - Cost engineering contribution inside of the company change management - Ongoing technical/university studies in the field of industrial engineering, process and production engineering with a focus on battery cells, business chemistry, chemistry, engineering economics - Affinity for AI & Pytho...
