Description Everyone knows the pool is the coolest place to be in the summer. Join our Aquatics Team to make sure everyone can enjoy the pool in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether you’re a lifeguard, a swim instructor or a little bit of both, you’re going to love working in aquatics at the Y because you’re helping swimmers feel confident and gain experience in the water. No lifeguard experience? No problem, we’ll train you! POSITION DESCRIPTION: - Arrive to class 5 minutes prior to scheduled start time to prepare participants for class. - Instruct group exercise classes and/or related classes. - Stay 5 minutes after scheduled end time to answer questions and build community. - All YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City Group Exercise Instructors will be paid for the listed scheduled class time, plus 10 minutes of additional required time.
