Network Systems Engineer Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid): Clearance: Secret (Top Secret preferred): Status: Exempt: Salary: $110k/yr - $130k/yr: About This Role: IntelliDyne LLC is seeking a Network Systems Engineer who will monitor, manage, configure, and maintain the network and several connectivity systems. The candidate will install, maintain, and test complex infrastructure hardware and software. They must be able to work independently within given boundaries and think critically. They must also be able to communicate effectively with the client as changes are planned and outages are experienced. Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve various issues with server, network, and storage infrastructure. - Monitor and maintain network and system health using tools such as WhatsUp Gold, Nagios, and ServiceNow to detect issues, generate alerts, and support incident management for enterprise infrastructure. - Perform build, configuration, and implementation of network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, switches, and VPN systems. - Take ownership of incidents and identify problem trends to improve overall environment dependability and meet Service Level Agreements. - C...
