Job description

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Radio Systems, the Physical Security Technician I, is responsible for facilitating repairs, service and maintenance of various Department of Public Safety (DPS) managed programs and systems for all aspects of the Casino, Hotel and Tribal Government Access Control databases. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responds to phone calls, emails, voicemail, verbal requests and work orders. Issues and tracks work orders; documenting all repairs, services and maintenance performed. Collaborate closely with vendors to ensure timely resolution of service issues. Manages vendor activities related to emergency repairs of all security systems, including after-hours system failures, troubleshooting hardware and equipment issues, and restoring systems to proper operating condition. 2. Participate in the development, planning, and management of processes and practices for new security functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and community goals.
