Overview $5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible new hires. The role of the medical assistant and licensed nursing assistant is vital to the care of our patients. Primary responsibilities include assisting patients with their provider visits (obtaining vital signs, point of care testing — EKG, urine dips, bladder scans, A1C, throat and nasal swabs, etc. — vaccine administration, and assisting with procedures. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment and a variety in their work while caring for patients of all ages. Responsibilities: - Greets, checks in patients, and notifies appropriate provider. Prepares patient, room and equipment for procedures and exams. - Takes and records vital signs. Informs provider of patient vital signs and concerns. - Recognizes and treats emergency patients as a priority, assists with patient examinations and treatments. - Handles patient situations over the phone, schedules appointments and procedures with medical professionals.
