Job description

RK&K is seeking a Geologist or Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental / Water Resources Team in the Mid-Atlantic. As an RK&K environmental scientist you will be actively involved in a diversity of water resource related projects for local utilities, government agencies and private companies to protect the environment, and provide water supply and water management solutions throughout RK&Ks regional footprint. Essential Functions: - Prepare task documentation and progress summary reports - Prepare lithologic descriptions and geologic profiles and summaries for water supply wells - Observe and document well construction activity to ensure compliance with State regulations, agency permits and design specifications - Perform on site activities, including well construction and testing inspection and well rehabilitation procedures or inspection in remote locations - Interact with clients and regulatory agencies - Collaborate with other water resource and environmental professionals - Permit compliance and construction inspection for deep water supply wells and Class I underground injection control (UIC) wells Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences, Environme...
