POSITION OVERVIEW: The Technical Analyst will work on a variety of technical projects in the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) on-premises environments. This individual will be required to work with vendors, business, and IT areas to develop solutions from design through implementation. This position is responsible for administration, on-call support, and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW). Essential Job Functions: 1) EDW Administration - Responsible for the overall health and performance of the on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouses from an administrative perspective - Monitors and owns all changes with servers, services, hardware, software, access, space consumption, passwords, certificates, connectivity, and more within the EDW environments. - Designs, plans, and implement upgrades for the EDW environments and infrastructure. - Plans, coordinates, and communicates monthly OS patching with Linux administrators, EDW developers, and users.
