Job description

The primary purpose of Davidson College is to assist students in developing humane instincts and disciplined and creative minds for lives of leadership and service. The Director of Student Rights & Responsibilities is responsible for coordinating the administration of the college’s student accountability program to ensure an equitable, educational, and restorative accountability process for students. Adhering to our Statement of Community Responsibility, the director provides leadership to accountability practices, developmental and educational context for student behaviors, and training/outreach to staff who facilitate accountability policies in Residence Life and other areas. The director will lead accountability processes to assist individual students and student organizations in addressing conflict and alleged policy violations focused on student learning, parity, compassion, and fairness.
