The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will join our Hardware Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN. The position is 100% on-site and the work environment will be a hybrid between office environment and industrial manufacturing floor. Typical Duties: Though this is not a supervisory position, the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will guide a team of 5-8 manufacturing engineers through a Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul (MRO) operation & Modernization project of sub-systems of an aeronautical platform. Key capabilities critical to the success of this role and the overall project include having the ability to understand and research military Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Orders (TOs), and engineering drawings & CAD models; and translating technical details to support metal fabrication and mechanical assembly operations by generating work instructions and resolving production issues through hands-on support. The engineer will assist in process development.
