ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a UPF Engineering Process Commissioning Specialist to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring validation and implementation of UPF safety basis and technical design requirements in preparation for readiness. Review technical adequacy of safety basis and safety basis support documents. Review technical adequacy of drawings, specifications and other design documents that implement safety basis requirements. Implement validation and verification of technical design requirements in drawings, specifications and other design documents. Verify results of acceptance testing to ensure that design criteria and safety basis requirements are adequately demonstrated. Lead facility and systems operational readiness by preparation and verification of readiness affirmation evidence packages. Requirements: Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Physical Science (Chemistry Physics, or related)and 5+ years of relevant experience.
