Audubon is currently seeking an I&E Design Specialist, Senior to join our Team in our Metairie, LA office. The I&E Design Specialist, Senior will perform, supervise, and manage assignments and personnel associated with designing instrument and electrical equipment, components, structures or systems. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supervise medium to large teams producing instrument/electrical design and/or deliverables. - Manage associated team’s productivity, work assignments, performance with input to hiring, dismissals, and evaluations. - Interview candidates, train personnel, and create/deploy/manage work techniques of team members. - Plan work for self and other team members; estimate project budgets for self and other team members. - Prepare complete design packages which may include, but not be limited to, preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables as well as engineering calculations. - Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings including necessary projections, sectional views and standard specifications. - Interpret verbal or written direction to initiate a preliminary design. - Perform sizing and electrical load ca...
