Engineering Technician II (FT)

Job description

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician II (full-time) to join our team in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities: Experience: Education: Security: - Conducts field and ship checks per Planning SOP; - Identifies and resolves HM&E, piping, and structural system issues; - Provides technical guidance; prepares inspection reports and drawing sets; - Manages repair project development and cost estimates (C962); - Installs and repairs locking mechanisms and keying systems aboard Navy vessels (C948) - 8 yrs full-time hands-on technician experience with shipboard systems (assembly, overhaul, repair, modification, maintenance) - Knowledge of JFMM, HM&E systems, blueprints, and work package procedures - Ability to prepare written reports, conduct technical studies, and develop recommendations - High School Diploma or equivalent - NDA requirements BENEFITS: Solvere offers a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
