College: Fletcher Technical Community College Department: Academic Affairs & Initiatives: Sub department: Energy & Advanced Technologies Type of Appointment: Unclassified - Adjunct Duties and Responsibilities: Job Specific Duties: Obtain NCCER craft instructor certification in Instrumentation discipline within 60 days of hire. Required Education : An Associate degree from an accredited college or university in the discipline of instrumentation; or an associate degree plus professional experience and required industry certifications; or 10+ years of professional experience at or above the highest level of skill being taught. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidates must have good instructional techniques; computer knowledge; student-centered attitude; and must be well organized. Preferred Experience : Teaching experience in the discipline at the college or high school level.
