Job description

SMX is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support our NAWCAD customer at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The successful candidate will manage and troubleshoot the operating systems and applications on end-user devices and servers in a lab environment and will work directly with the ISSO and cybersecurity team to maintain secure, compliant operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Cradle to grave system administration for endpoints and servers - Operating systems and application patching and updates - Vulnerability scanning and mitigation - Apply STIGs - Backup and recovery - Documentation support Required Skills & Experience: - Clearance Required: Top Secret - 3+ years of experience - Must have thorough troubleshooting skills - Experience supporting the latest Windows end user devices and servers - Experience with compliance assurance including apply STIGs, patches, and scanning for accreditation efforts - Experience with hardware troubleshooting and support - Security+ or other IAT Level II (or higher) certification Desired Qualifications: - Linux-based systems administration experience - Bachelor's/Master's degree is strongly desired Application Deadline: 5/11/2...
