What you will do: - Uphold a genuine regard for safety, ensuring employees understand and follow safety guidelines and recognizing individuals for safety suggestions. - Uphold the highest ethical standards, serving as a role model to other plant leaders and team members. Shutting down unsafe equipment and correct upset conditions promptly. - Engineering Design Review - Develop and maintain supportive relationships with business unit teams, corporate engineers, and management - Support troubleshooting of mechanical systems - Research automation technologies and help design efficient manufacturing workflows - Lead project meetings, setting schedules and agendas, and engaging participants to actively contribute - Distribute project status update reports to keep stakeholders informed of progress, challenges, and key changes - Capital Project Management - Serve as Project Manager for major capital projects from start to finish - Provide engineering support on projects assigned to Operational Leaders - Manage contractor activities, setting clear expectations to ensure timely and quality completion of projects while enforcing all plant policies a...
