Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 816,000 natural gas customers in central and southern Illinois. We deliver safe, reliable energy to more than 1,200 communities. Ameren Illinois is looking for an Engineering Representative Step 1 who will be responsible for the following: Position Description Complete the Engineering Representative Training Program, which includes three gas and electric classroom modules. The employee must successfully pass weekly tests and two final exams with a minimum average score of 70%. Upon completion, the employee should be able to confidently advise customers on proper electric, gas, and lighting policies. Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and email correspondence to gather details for customer-requested projects. Use training and company computer systems to initiate, engineer, and complete standard design customer requests, ensuring adequate electric, natural gas, and lighting service is provided.
