Position Overview: - Bonus : $6,000.00 sign on bonus - Department : Electrophysiology Lab - Schedule : 4 10's No weekends, No holidays, No Call - Work Location : UAB St. Vincents East Trussville - Benefits for eligible positions only include : generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. - Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. - Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery. - Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. - Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instruments counts throughout procedures. - Assist surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - High school diploma equivalency AND completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component OR a minimum of 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required. - Associate's degree or technic...
