Position Description At a Glance: Legrand has an opportunity for a Human Resources Operations Representative based in West Hartford, CT . This position is primarily remote, with some in-office days required. Candidates must be within commuting distance of West Hartford, CT. The role supports employees, managers, and the Human Resources team by administering core HR operational processes, maintaining accurate data, and assisting with HR programs and initiatives. What Will You Do?: - Manage and resolve Human Resources requests through a case management system, processing a high volume of HR transactions such as new hire entries, job and personal data changes, and ongoing maintenance of records in the HRIS and organizational charts. - Support the staffing process by opening requisitions in the online recruiting tool; assisting with reference checks, drug screening coordination, and assessments; and preparing offer letters and new hire documentation. - Coordinate new hire readiness activities, including system access requests, office space and equipment setup, and required supplies prior to the employee’s start date. - Respond to questions from newly hired employees and monitor the onb...
