Here is a snapshot of the duties you can expect: SCOPE OF POSITION: Reporting directly to the Produce Department Manager performs varied supportive produce functions in an efficient and timely manner. BASIC FUNCTION: Performs duties necessary to ensure department products are received, displayed, faced and pulled per department requirements. Assists customers in a friendly and outgoing manner. Position Specific Requirements: EQUIPMENT/TOOLS OPERATED : Proficient skill in operation of standard department equipment, which includes scales, handcarts, side cutters to open crates, knives to cut product, pineapple coring machine and sanitizing equipment. - Previous experience working with produce desired. - Able to perform Produce Operations, practices and procedures within a retail grocery environment. - Be self-directed, results oriented, project a positive business image and lead by example. - Good attention to detail and follow through skills. - Good customer relations’ skills. -...
