Job description

What Real Estate contributes to Cardinal Health Facilities & Real Estate plans and directs facility maintenance and food services as well as real estate activities including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and property development. Real Estate is responsible for the purchase or negotiation of all property acquisition, disposition lease administration and lease agreements. This job family develops strategies for site locations and availability and makes recommendations for the acquisition and disposal of properties. This job family ensures proper documentation of lease or purchase transactions and manages relationships with outside vendors, consultants, and relevant local community/government groups. Responsibilities: Abstracting and interpreting commercial lease documents (leases, amendments, subleases) and other real estate related documents ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Interpret and analyze lease language to determine the right course of action as to Landlord and Tenant responsibilities Monitor and manage critical dates and deadlines, including but not limited lease commencement and expiration dates, rent commencement dates, option deadlines, etc....
