Swing Shift Alternate Lead, Composite Repa - 17399 Description: Position Overview: The Swing shift Composite Alternate Lead Mechanic steps in as a leader when the primary Lead is unavailable, ensuring all repairs, modifications, and tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. The role requires FAA A&P certification and a strong technical background in aviation maintenance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform hot and cold bond repairs as per Aircraft SRMs, EAs, or other approved documentation. - Identify damaged components and select appropriate repair techniques and materials. - Conduct tasks such as sanding, trimming, priming, and fitting repairs to parts. - Follow repair sequences, complete necessary documentation, and observe safety protocols. - Maintain a clean work environment and ensure compliance with all safety procedures. - Record work hours and document all work accomplished daily. - Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
