To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Peterborough depot. Shift Available: Tuesday - Saturday working on Days Rate of pay: £16.54 per hour. Paid weekly. Any hours worked over 39 hours each week will be paid at time and a half. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations) Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience.
